Today the pigs arrive, so no time like the present to get started on their new pig pen :). It's a long story of why we had to build a new one but to keep it short, we did not get along with the people we shared the pen with last year and felt it would be better in the long run to just have our own. We were able to put it on the same property which works out great because it's pretty close and the people are really nice about letting us keep them there!the above is a picture of what the spot looked like before ...

I can't believe another pig adventure for Katy. Feed it well, and see if you can fatten this one up.
Way to go Bob. You are a good sport to put up with these girls.
well, i would say huge thanks to bob are in order. good luck this year with the little piggies.
Bob should be able to use this to his advantage for weeks to come. Anytime he's losing an argument he can pull out the "wait, wasn't that me who spent his weekend building a pig pen?"
I still think its funny that the kids there buy pigs and sell them...i guess small town life is quite different! Good job to Bob. And good luck to katie with her pig this year.
Hopefully, this year Katie's pig will be able to get to the trough! That was very nice of Bob to spearhead the project.
