Here Comes the Sun

we haven't seen the sun here for quite a while, two weeks at least. we have had day after day of what they call an inversion. it basically means gray, cloudy skies, foggy at times, very little variance in the temperature from day to night (it goes from cold to colder), and stagnant air. finally on friday we woke up and saw the sun. everyone at work commented on how much better they felt just from the sun being out. hopefully it will stick around for a while!

Nice picture. Nothing like some good ole sunhine to cheer a person up. We sure enjoy the sunshine here. We have had some rain the last few days, which will probably extend into this coming week. But, even with some cloudy skies, the sun usually makes an appearance and the temperatures has been mild.

I never realized you could have such long stretches of cloudy weather in Eastern Washington. I'm glad the sun came out for you.

And now we are back to snow... but at least we had a little reminder of what the sun looked like! :) It is funny how much more energy everyone has when the sun is shining. It makes me want to clean the house (maybe that's just because I can finally see how dusty it is!)
